French bee, France’s leading low-cost long-haul carrier, owned by the Dubreuil Group, is strengthening its partnership with Dohop this month with the launch of its new retail platform, French bee Connect.
French bee’s fully integrated retail platform will enable connectivity with partners within the Dohop ecosystem, unlocking exciting new destinations and seamless connected journeys for its customers.
French bee joined the Dohop ecosystem at the start of 2023 and has seen a steady growth in sales since. Its new retail platform will enhance this growth by capturing the demand from the airline’s direct ecommerce channels and offering new connections through its launch partners, which include Pegasus Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and others, with more to follow soon.
Leveraging Dohop’s future-proof API connectivity, the carrier is expanding its global network across five connecting airports and over 40 new destinations. With numerous weekly connections now available, French bee customers gain more travel options and seamless connected journeys - all accessible in a single booking.
French bee’s connections are covered by Dohop’s highly-rated passenger connection service, which provides assistance in case of disruption, giving the airline and its customers peace of mind.
This collaboration overrides the complexities and constraints of formal codeshare and interline agreements, facilitating partnerships across airlines and making new connections simpler.
“We are excited to offer more than 40 new destinations with the launch of this new retail platform in partnership with Dohop and our launch partners as we grow our network and reach,” said French bee’s Managing Director, Marc-Antoine Blondeau. “This innovative solution is the right fit for us to enable a simple and alternative way to interline, offering easier and more affordable journeys around the world to our loyal customers as well as new ones.”
“French bee is an important airline within our partner ecosystem, with a profile that works extremely well with our model, so we are delighted to welcome them as our latest retail partner,” said Sarah Hanan, CCO Dohop. “Their competitive low fares and network are a perfect fit for the market, and we look forward to developing our successful partnership and further increasing sales for French bee.”
